Our story began in Tehran in 2012, when, after gaining experience in contract advisory work at Iran Air and working with law firms active in international trade, I decided to start independently. The outlook was an Iran with real potential for economic growth through both domestic and foreign investment.

Starting a young law firm focused on investment and international trade during years of sanctions and economic difficulty was not easy. Yet the trust of business owners and forward-looking managers, together with the care and commitment of our team, led to lasting relationships with respected companies in sectors such as aviation, information technology and pharmaceuticals. Some of those relationships continue to this day.

The short period of growth following the JCPOA gave us the opportunity to expand our network with international law firms and to assist investors in the early stages of entering Iran, from obtaining licences and establishing companies to mergers and acquisitions. When the circumstances changed again, many clients reduced the scope of their activities, but business did not come to a complete stop. We continued to work alongside them in contract drafting, regulatory compliance, dispute resolution and, in some cases, in designing and managing the day-to-day legal structure of their businesses.

Over the years, our role in many of these relationships developed beyond providing occasional legal advice. For some clients, we designed legal procedures, managed legal functions remotely, placed in-house legal advisers and supervised their work, and tried to make legal and risk-based thinking part of the everyday decision-making of key managers.

This experience gradually shaped the approach that still defines our work: combining legal precision with a practical understanding of business realities, and providing advice that is clear, timely and workable. Our continuous ranking in Chambers Global from 2017 to 2024 is an independent reflection of this professional path.

The return of sanctions, followed by the COVID-19 pandemic, led many foreign companies to leave Iran and created a pause in part of our international work. We used that period to rebuild the firm, update our internal systems and structures, and prepare for the next stage.

Today, I am pleased to introduce Sara Tajdini, who has worked with the firm as a lawyer since 2016, as a partner. Together, we, Nasim Gheidi and Sara Tajdini, work with a team of experienced lawyers and younger legal colleagues, as well as a network of notaries public and business strategy advisers, to support Iranian and international companies and business owners.
